By Taxi, Uber or Limousine – Getting around in Dubai

Taxis and Uber vehicles are the most frequently used method of transportation. ‘Foreign’ Uber accounts usually still work in the UAE.

Travel tip: jot down the vehicle number and driver’s name when traveling in case you leave something behind (most of the time the airport will hand you a taxi assignment ticket that contains the same information – only throw this away once you are sure you did not leave anything behind in the Taxi.)

At the airport the Taxi area is well identified on airport signs. Please follow the signs and do not accept any private rides that may be offered until you arrive at the official taxi stand area.
